Unit 3, Task 1: Annotated Bibliography

Writing an Annotated Bibliography
I found this video quite interesting because it can help us to learn/improve the way we can do an Annotated Bibliography. It is quite easy to follow and with the basic steps to clear understand the general idea of the AB.

Christian Dalsgaard

8200 Aarhus N, Denmark.

This article discusses the pedagogical potentials of social networking sites, arguing that a central characteristic of social networking sites such as Facebook, Myspace, Bebo and Ning is a combination of personalization and socialization. This combination can facilitate transparency between students, since students can have the insight into each other’s work.
It also mentions that social networking sites do not necessarily involve communication, dialogue or collaboration, but according to the paper, “transparency is a dominating feature”.
The main idea of the document is based on the pedagogical potentials of social networking sites. The focus will be on different qualities of social software and Web 2.0 that are characteristic of the social networking sites, being a combination of personalization and socialization.
